In June 2019, the Hudson Cemetery had a hit-and-run incident that took out part of our new fence! But before we could blink an eye, our community friends came to the rescue and we were back in business in no time.
We couldn’t do it without help from our friends in the community, and residents like you. If you would like to help us in our mission of keeping up the Hudson Cemetery clean for the next generation, join the Hudson Preservation Association today for $25 and we’ll add you to our team. Or make a tax deductible donation at GoFundMe.com/HudsonCemetery to help with year round landscaping. Or just volunteer at one of our Clean Up Events, posted in advance on this website!

Grab a friend and help us clean up the Hudson Cemetery. Flyer attached. Saturday, October 20th, 2018.
Our main goal(s) are to tackle the growth outside the fence, fix the sign, and weed eat.
Hope to you see there! For more information or to receive volunteer hours, email henri1465@aol.com

You might have noticed the headstones at Hudson Cemetery have brightened up a bit. That is thanks to a recommendation from another small cemetery sharing their success with “Wet & Forget”, now available at local Home Depot. Works on many surfaces.
We have completed two treatments and just look at the difference. This is the headstone for Ida Hudson, buried in 1878!
For an annual membership fee, or a donation to our Go Fund Me Page of $30 or greater, receive our new logo t-shirt and be included on our mailing list of upcoming events, going’s on, improvements, etc.

Our immediate goal is to secure year round landscaping services and become a formal 501(c)-3 to raise money for future improvements and plot sales.

Thank you to all the volunteers who came out and helped clean up the cemetery for the Memorial Day Event on Monday, 05/28/18!
Grab your rakes and gloves and meet us at the Hudson Cemetery Saturday, January 13th 2018 for our next event. We will begin at 9am and concentrate on cleaning out the palm trees outside the fence, along Hudson Ave and Fivay, and sprucing up inside by removing vines, laying fertilizer to help with sandspurs, etc.
Hope to see you there, bring a friend!
